Leftover Sunday night roast buns

Buns Ingredients

  • 500g SR flour
  • 400ml milk
  • pinch of salt
  • Leftover roast or chicken
  • Left over gravy
  • Spring Onions
  • Parsley
  • Mushrooms
  • Paper cupcake trays


  1. Place milk and SR flour in food processor and turn on until combined
  2. Remove from food processor and roll into ball add more flower if required, set aside
  3. Shred leftover roast in bowl
  4. Finely slice up spring onion and parsley and add to bowl
  5. Slice up mushrooms and fry off in olive oil in a pan and also add to bowl
  6. Mix all ingredients together and put aside
  7. Grab bun Doug ball and cut into 8
  8. Using a rolling pin roll each piece out so it fits into you hand
  9. With tea spoon, put filling ontop of dough and add tea spoon of gravy in the middle, cup your hand and crimp ends to forms a ball.
  10. Place each ball into cupcake paper tray and put into bamboo steamer until you fill up.
  11. Steam for about 15 min
  12. reheat up reaming gravy and use as dipping sauce
